Why Attend
The Inclusive Beauty Summit, December 8th - 9th, a virtual forum for thought leaders from across the beauty industry to connect and identify how to overcome the challenges of hiring, marketing, formulation, product development and retail to appeal to a more diverse consumer.
Tune into the summit to understand how you can leverage this emerging market opportunity and;
- Increase your market share through product innovation
- Revolutionize your ingredients through formulations
- Be front of mind with innovative marketing campaigns
Key areas being explored at the summit include;
Hiring & HR: Change starts from the top. Assess and implement the internal protocols that Ulta, Kendo (Fenty) and Urban Skin RX have put in place to make inclusivity part of their ‘DNA’.
Marketing & Branding: Inclusivity is more than just including black models in your marketing campaign. Dive deeper into how Shiseido, P&G and Luna Magic develop authentic brands that consumers trust and apply their know-how to your own strategy.
Product Development & Clean-Ingredient Selection: Fenty changed the game with their 40 shades – now everyone’s doing it. So, what’s next? Curology, Versed, Nutralicious, Croda and Kate Somerville tell you exactly where they’re looking to diversify their product category offerings and how your brand can keep formulations ‘clean’.
The Voice of the Indie Brands: It’s the indies that are breaking the mould, carving their own niche and catering to underserved consumer groups. Undefined Beauty, Kreyol Essence and Shedavi share the secrets to their success and outline the industry support needed to allow more Black-owned brands to flourish.
Retail: Consumers need to feel welcome and catered for in-store, regardless of their age, gender, sexuality or race. Ulta, Sephora and Credo will provide updates on the staff education, technology and product diversity initiatives they’re putting in place and discuss the future of inclusivity in beauty retail.
Pitching Session
We know how important the connections with retailers and investors are for propelling your brand forward in the beauty space, and we also know there hasn’t traditionally been a platform for increasing diversity in the brands that are seen and heard.
That's exactly why we've gathered the 'who's who' in beauty retail and investment for private, 1-2-1 sessions that can give you the opportunity to grow your business and find your next partner.
You can apply to meet with any of these partners. They will be selecting meetings with those brands they feel most align with what they are looking for. Limited spaces will be available with each company.
The Inclusive Beauty team will then schedule these meetings through our meeting platform, in the allocated 'Pitching Time' of Day 2 (9th December, 10am-1pm PST).
To apply, you must be registered by the 30th November 4pm PDT. Details of application will be sent to you on registration – it is a 5 minute, simple survey application process.
See you there!

GIOSTAR then created a finished facial serum using AHSDM, which was evaluated in numerous studies with up to 2,000 consumers. The product showed a 31% or higher score across 8 dimensions when tested against five leading skin care serums.
The company seeks to provide this cutting-edge stem cell innovation to a top skin care firm with a white-label product line, filling a gap in this rapidly growing market.
GIOSTAR devises anti-aging protocols to rejuvenate the entire body, with scientists hailing from The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, University of California San Diego, and other leading research institutions around the world. The company’s researchers have authored more than 200 scientific publications, with findings that have formed the foundation of regenerative medicine.
