Camille Kriebitzsch
Camille joined the consumer team in 2015 as an Associate. She started working as a business developer for Birchbox and Alexandalexa, two pioneer startups in the beauty and childrenswear sectors. She also worked at Ernst&Young where she was mostly focused on the LVMH account. Camille graduated from ESCP Europe and studied in France, the UK and Germany.
Jean-Philippe Barade
Mr. Barade began his career in 1997 at Credit Suisse First Boston as an Analyst in Paris and then Associate in New York in investment banking within the M&A Group. In 1999, Mr. Barade joined Permira and was subsequently promoted to Principal in the Consumer Team where he focused on investments in consumer, retail and leisure across Europe as well as in France across all sectors. In that capacity, Mr. Barade worked on many acquisitions and exits such as Cognis, Birds Eye iglo, Britvic, Holmes Place. In 2008, Mr. Barade joined Morgan Stanley Private Equity, a global private equity fund sponsored by Morgan Stanley, initially as an Executive Director and then as Managing Director and Partner as well as Member of the Investment Committee for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners V. In 2013, Mr. Barade co-founded B&B Investment Partners as a new private equity fund sponsored by Walgreens Boots Alliance to make acquisitions in health and wellness, beauty and consumer healthcare.
Mr. Barade brings 17 years of private equity experience in leading firms with a focus on the consumer and retail sectors across Europe.
Mr. Barade holds a MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
Libby Gibson
Libby heads up Piper’s added value team, which answers Piper’s key commercial questions during due diligence and post-investment helps our brands better understand and communicate with their customers, through research, branding and marketing.
She has developed her customer focused understanding of branded businesses through her work with over 30 different brands in the last 30 years. Having joined Fitch & Company, the UK’s leading commercial design consultancy, Libby left in 1985 to co-found Piper. She was also intimately involved in the start-up and growth of their highly successful bar brand Pitcher & Piano.
Libby takes the lead on our food and drink, beauty and travel investments.

Kim Davy-Hoeu
Kim is an enthusiastic Marketing and New Product Development leader with over 14 years of success. She has worked on multiple projects spanning across skincare, bodycare, haircare, colour cosmetics, fragrance, and home fragrance. She built her skills and expertise working with various companies, from niche brands to larger international brands ranging from Rodial and Fornasetti Profumi to Elizabeth Arden and more recently was at Crabtree & Evelyn as their Global Head of Product Innovation and Development. Her strengths lie in translating product concepts, formulas and ideas through a Marketing and R&D perspective. This enables her to innovate and develop new scents, products and texture concepts that appeal to consumers. Particularly focused on devising new formulations and textures linked to fragrance stories, Kim is able to offer invaluable consumer insight.
At the beginning of 2017, she started an exciting new venture offering Strategic Marketing and Product Development consultancy services through her agency KDH Concepts. She is currently involved with a diverse client base, spread across London and New York. She recently spearheaded the development of Scentbird's debut personal care a nd home fragrance collections. In London, she’s also involved on a re-branding project for a dermatological skincare care and the launch of a luxury British home fragrance brand – she recently joined the latter as a Director and Shareholder of the company.

Michael Sampson
Michael Sampson is a brand expert with a career spent leading in large multi-nationals, start-ups and scaling organizations. Currently he is the CEO of Kate Somerville Skincare LLC, an innovator in prestige beauty building a global footprint focusing on channel diversification, product development, digital strategy and consumer engagement. Born in the UK and having lived in Brussels, Belgium, St. Paul, MN, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and now Los Angeles, Michaels movement has been a result of success in numerous functions, categories and channels. Michael started his career and developed with over a decade at L’Oréal holding multiple senior positions. He then led multi brand creation and development as portfolio President at incubator Hatchbeauty LLC, and ran vertical integration as well as new business acquisition thereafter.
Michael serves on the board of a startup tech company in the professional beauty industry called DirectTips LLC focusing on communication and mobile banking. He is also a Business and Strategy Advisor / Mentor for TrendSeeder Corp, an education ecosystem focusing on fashion, beauty, health & wellness innovators
Barbara Donoghue
Ms. Barbara Donoghue is an Advisor to Manzanita Capital. Ms. Donoghue is an expert in media. Ms. Donoghue served as the Managing Director of NatWest Markets and Hawkpoint Partners. She had a career in international investment banking at senior executive level. Ms. Donoghue has been a Director of Eniro AB since 2003. She served as a Director of Noventus Partners. Ms. Donoghue is a Panel Member of the UK Competition Commission. She was a Member of Independent Television Commission. Ms. Donoghue was a Teaching Fellow at London Business School in the areas of strategic and international management. She is a Development Agency Scholar and holds an M.B.A. and a B.Com. from McGill University, Canada.
Vasiliki Petrou
Senior Vice-President of Prestige at Unilever, Vasiliki has some 23 years of personal care and beauty experience both in marketing and general management. Prior to her current role at Unilever, she was Vice-President of New Business Development for Personal Care.
Maria Dane

Fulfilling an ambition and desire to run his own business, Tom founded Medichem in 1992. Medichem initially manufactured chemicals for the medical sector, it then successfully expanded into contract manufacturing for the hair, body and skin care market. In 2013 Tom launched a make-up and colour cosmetics business with Adam Minto, TAM Beauty (now Revolution Beauty). Tom also owns a property investment and development company. Tom enjoys golf, swimming, red wine, dining out and spending as much time as possible at his home in Spain with his family.
