TWO2 can be administered in any clinical setting or self-administered by the patient at home, overcoming common barriers to access and compliance, thus helping to advance health equity, while improving outcomes and reducing costs.

Comfort Release

We have commercialized with 6 granted patents and initially 3 completed clinically studies and one large upcoming $2M clinical study, on a polymer resin used to produce Comfort Release® adhesive products that eliminates common skin pain AND skin trauma caused by today’s other acrylic adhesive wound care solutions. Comfort Release® is positioned to become the industry leader in wound care and will prevent the common acrylic adhesive caused skin pain and skin injuries when these medical devices are removed from the skin.

Our adhesives are strong bonding (and thus have a long wear time) for ONLY as long as the user wants – because the adhesive to skin bond can be turned off and the adhesive medical device can be removed quickly, easily, painlessly, and trauma free.

We have thus created the first modified acrylic adhesive that is BOTH strong bonding to the skin AND weak bonding to the skin because of our patented “switch”.

• Comfort Release® products are produced from a propriety oligomeric switch that rapidly decreases the  peel strength of a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.
• The oligomeric switch (OGS) is activated with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to cause a rapid decrease in the peel force of a medical pressure-sensitive adhesive, for painless and trauma free removal of the medical device.
• After the IPA evaporates the adhesive bond returns, allowing the device to be re-adhered to the skin, if so desired.
• The hydrophobic OGS material can be blended into most acrylic base adhesives, allowing for the creation of a wide range of physical characteristics in the finished acylate adhesive. We can create short duration to long duration wear adhesives.  And we can create moderate strength adhesives to very strong bonding adhesives.
• Our current product portfolio is based on five proprietary different formulations of OGS, base acrylics, and film materials. A full range of medical products are available including for advanced wound care and our products are rapidly expanding.
